The most famous Croatian cheese is called Paški sir, it is a sheep cheese from the island of Pag.
It is a spicy sausage that could be compared to the Spanish Chorizo. This is a speciality from the Croatian region called Slavonia.
Ajvar is a type of relish, made principally from red bell peppers, eggplant and garlic. It is usually served with grilled meat.
